Objectivism

Objectivism is a philosophical system developed by Russian-American writer Ayn Rand. Objectivism claims that each individual has an inalienable moral right to act as their own judgment directs and to keep the product of their effort. Therefore, the role of the government is simply 'the police, to protect men from criminals—the armed services, to protect men from foreign invaders—the law courts, to settle disputes among men according to objective laws', the executive, and legislatures. Essentially, everyone has a right to act without being restricted by greater force… And so, to maintain this freedom, the government is acting as an agent of its citizens stopping those who try to gain power and nothing else. 'has no rights except the rights delegated to it by the citizens'.
